Founded in 2020, Miami Philharmonic has been a dream in the works for more than 5 years. Our Founder and Director, Alberto Bade, wanted to unite musicians from all over the world to deliver a unique, powerful, and captivating orchestral experience.
Living in South Florida for over 30 years, he understands the unique cultural needs of our community.
The Miami Phil is also focused on providing children and their families with opportunities to learn and expand their appreciation for this genre of music through concerts, clinics, and mentorship programs.
Maestro Bade currently works as Professor and Orchestral Director at Miami Dade College (MDC) where he serves as director of the MDC Symphony Orchestra. A dedicated advocate of music education, Maestro Bade is regularly a guest clinician and conductor for local and international youth orchestras, as well as the founder of the MDC Honors Festival.
As an international performer, Maestro Bade has been a frequent guest conductor in orchestras in Madrid, Berlin, Munich, Prague, Bucharest, and St. Petersburg, Russia.

The Miami Philharmonic Orchestra (MiaPhil) is an orchestra based in South Florida under the direction of Maestro Alberto Bade. Our goal is to broaden the understanding and appreciation of orchestral music among people of all ages and walks of life.
